Jehovah’s Witnesses mark anniversary of Jesus’ death April 9
“Keep doing this in remembrance of me,” Jesus Christ told his disciples.
But, what are Jesus’ disciples to commemorate? And why is it so important for you to do so?
Find out on Thursday, April 9, when the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2227 Washington Avenue in Douglas, marks the anniversary of Christ’s death with a simple ceremony.
The event will be conducted in Spanish at 6:30 p.m. and in English at 8 p.m. that Thursday.
Each year, Jehovah’s Witnesses mark the anniversary of Jesus’ death with a simple ceremony. The answers to the questions will be discussed at the event.
This year, the anniversary falls on Thursday, April 9, after sundown.
Jehovah’s Witnesses invite to join them in remembering the most important occasion in history.
Also, the church will hold a special Bible talk entitled, “Is there a true religion from God’s standpoint,” on Sunday, April 26, at the church. The discussion will be presented in English beginning at 10 a.m., and in Spanish at 1 p.m. that Sunday.
