A wave of harassment unleashed in Russia leads to dramatic consequences

NARTKALA, Kabardino-Balkaria—Unidentified masked assailants beat up the watchmen inside a place of worship, and after the watchmen lost consciousness, the intruders poured out ten liters of flammable liquid and set the building on fire. Fortunately one of the watchmen regained consciousness, pressed an alarm to alert a monitoring agency, and put out the flames with a fire extinguisher. SILVER SPRINGS – Church-goers arrived at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 18081 S.E. 17th St. Sunday to discover vandals had painted graffiti on the wall.

According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, someone used dark green spray paint to deface the facility.

Deputies were unable to find any tracks that might belong to suspects due to church traffic.

Deputies also noted a nearby house had similar graffiti painted on it in the same color paint.

BUDENNOVSK, Stavropol Territory—On the night of March 20, 2010, a fire broke out in the house of worship, or Kingdom Hall, of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Budennovsk. No one was present at the time so there were no injuries but the interior, including the ceiling, walls and chairs were destroyed.
